St. Gertrude Adult Faith Formation Program Presents Fr. Robert Barron’s
CATHOLICISM: the Journey of a Lifetime
SERIES AND DISCUSSION
Part One: Thursday evenings, Feb. 23 – March 22
Part Two: Thursday evenings, April 19 – May 17
Each evening will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. in the School Cafeteria
For the first hour, we will watch an episode of Fr. Barron’s informative series, parts of which appeared on PBS last December. After a brief break, a brief presentation may be given, along with some discussion and questions. The series will help us enter more deeply into our faith, and will be a perfect preparation for the Year of Faith for the New Evangelization proclaimed by Pope Benedict, beginning on Oct. 11 of this year. The topics are as follows:
April 19: A Body Both Suffering and Glorious: The Mystical Union of Christ and the Church
April 26: Word Made Flesh, True Bread of Heaven: The Mystery of the Liturgy and the Eucharist
May 3: A Vast Company of Witnesses: The Communion of the Saints
May 10: The Fire of His Love: Prayer and the Life of the Spirit
May 17 World Without End: The Last Things
