2013 High School Boys Dominican Vocation Event for Ohio & Kentucky

This will be an excellent opportunity for high school boys to meet and talk with our Dominican novices and priests about a Dominican vocation. Fr. Benedict Croell OP, the Director of Vocations for the Province of St. Joseph will also be present for this event. All High School boys are welcome; permission slip is required.

40 Hours Pasta Dinner

Join us for Vespers, Eucharistic Procession, and Benediction at 4:00pm on Sunday, March 3, then join us in the School cafeteria from 5-7pm for a Pasta Dinner.

Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Friars‘ novitiate.

Dinner includes: pasta, breadsticks, salad and desserts. Cost is $5 for children and $7 for adults (over 18 years old). The Family rate is $34.

Dominican Student Brothers 2013 Calendar

Please be sure to stop by the Parish Center after Mass on November 11 to purchase your very own Dominican Student Brothers 2013 calendar. This liturgical calendar, with special Dominican celebrations noted, is packed full of beautiful photographs from the House of Studies. It will make an excellent Christmas gift for family and friends. The calendar sells for $10 with proceeds supporting our 50 Dominican student brothers in formation.

Please say a prayer that these men will persevere in giving themselves more to Jesus Christ as they begin this year of novitiate in the Order of Preachers and to follow Him in the way of our Holy Father, St. Dominic.  May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary watch over them and protect them.  AMEN!
