Speaker Bios - September 2010
Andrea Jenson

Andrea Jenson is the Assistant Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Sioux City. She grew up in Pocahontas, Iowa with her parents, older sister and younger brother. In her free tme Andrea is spending time with her family and friends, especially her 2 year old nephew, singing and playing guitar, talking on the phone, or working on graduate school. She is pursuing a Master's in Theological Studies from the Augustine Institute. Her favorite part of her job is being at camp or retreats. 

Gina Loehr

Gina Loehr grew up in Dayton, Ohio, before receiving her bachelor's degree in theatre studies and her master's degree in theology. She has been involved with NET Ministries, youth and young adult ministry, and pro-life outreach. Now Gina writes and speaks on such topics as the virtues, the sacrament of marriage and the vocation of women. Gina lives with her husband, daughter and baby boy on a six-hundred-acre dairy farm in southeastern Wisconsin.  She is the author of three books. 

Fr. Michael Dosch

Fr. Michael Dosch, O.P., our host for the weekend, is a Dominican friar from St. Gertrude Parish in Madeira, Ohio. Father Michael grew up surfing at the Jersey Shore until he entered the Dominican Order in 1998. Active in youth and young adult ministry, he's been planning this CREDO youth conference since before the last one ended!

Fr. Mark Burger

Fr. Mark Burger is a gifted speaker, spiritual leader, and the Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in West Chester, Ohio, Fr. Mark is actively sought after as a counselor and retreat master. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, attended Roger Bacon High School, and was ordained a priest in 1980.

Father Albert Trudel was born in Alberta, Canada. A Dominican priest, he teaches at Providence College with a doctorate in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, England, and a post-doctoral License in Mediaeval Studies from the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies in Toronto. Fr. Albert enjoys listening to classical music, singing schola, calligraphy, drama, hiking, skiing (both downhill and cross-country), skating, and squash.

Archbishop Dennis Schnurr will celebrate the 4:30 Mass on Saturday, September 26, 2009.  This retreat weekend is blessed to have our coadjutor archbishop come to us!

Michael Walsh, our emcee for the weekend, is a speaker who has traveled around the world speaking to thousands of people about the Catholic faith. Michael's captivating talks have inspired adults in youth from around the United States of America to Canada and Singapore to live out their Catholic faith every day! He is featured on ETWN Radio on a regular basis and his speaking ministry that focuses on faith, fitness and motivation for life is growing larger each day!
