Event Synopsis: Imagine this…All ages, all God's people, praising God together. Where Cincinnati 2000/Youth 2000s are more catechetical, the Eucharistic Festivals of Praise (FOP for short!) are more relational. The focus of the FOPs are to deepen our relationship with Christ, especially with Christ present in the Eucharist, and then using this relationship and using the gifts we have been given from God to build up His Kingdom here on earth. Our relationship with Christ will also bring us to a deeper desire of being united with Him at Mass where Christ gives Himself completely to us with love & humility when we receive this same Eucharistic Lord into our bodies. The format of the Eucharistic Festivals of Praise will follow a similar format to the ones at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. The Eucharist, which is Jesus Christ Himself, will be present with AMAZING praise & worship music and a scriptural meditation to draw us closer to God and to bring us to a greater reverence, wonder, & awe of our Lord. During the FOP, there will be quiet time before & after Benediction to speak quietly with our Lord and Savior in prayer and to listen for His voice. There will be opportunities available for Confession as well to receive Christ's loving mercy and forgiveness. After the Eucharistic FOP, there will optional prayer teams for people to go to receive prayers for themselves and/or others. This event will close with a social opportunity for people to get together and chat and to even talk with priests if necessary to ask questions. Let us allow ourselves to draw closer to God, to His Presence in the Eucharist, and to be His hands to draw people back to His Church. AMEN! Questions? - email us!
