Twinning Meeting
Twinning Meeting - Parish Center Lobby (St. Dominic Room)
Interested in doing Mission work locally?
Is God tugging at your heart to help with mission work? Consider participating in mission work that is right in your own backyard. St. Gertrude’s Mission Twinning Committee is looking for new members to help us in developing our growing relationship with our second “Twinning” partner — St. Leo The Great in Cincinnati’s North Fairmont area. This multi-cultural parish services the African Burundi refugee and Latino communities in our city. Use your talents to help fulfill the many needs of the St. Leo’s community. You can join our group in helping with their food pantry, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and more!
As scripture teaches in James 2:14-26, “Faith without works is dead.” So consider putting your faith into action by joining our parish’s Mission Twinning Committee. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Parish Center in the old Stewardship office (enter the door to the right of Mary’s statue in the grotto area between the Parish Center and the Church). Volunteer opportunities are outside of the regular meeting time. If you have any questions, please contact Casey Huber at 513-675-7375 or rcaseyhuber@yahoo.com.
