Holy Hour with recitation of the Rosary this evening - Gemma Kaufman
There will be a Holy Hour with recitation of the Rosary this evening, Sunday March 17th, from 7:15 - 8:15 pm at St. Gertrude Church for Gemma Kaufman and her family. All are welcome to come and pray for her healing. Please consider bringing your children as well, of any age. Their prayers are very powerful!

Presentation and update on the Expansion of St. Gertrude Priory on Thursday January 17th at 7pm in the school cafeteria.
Last week, on Nov 14th and 18th the Pastor, Director of Stewardship and Development, along with a Development Team assembled in January this year, unveiled a vision for our parish for 2016. We are grateful for those parishioners who were able to attend. We fielded several great questions after the 45 minute presentation and enjoyed some fellowship after each session. Here is the presentation.
I assembled a Development Team six months ago to begin to assess our needs and our future. Eight couples in our parish, along with me and parish staff members, have been meeting to discuss what those needs might be. At the same time, the Order of Preachers/Dominican Order is making plans to celebrate its 800th anniversary in 2016. How fitting it would be that we, at St. Gertrude, are doing the same.
