Mission Statement
St. Gertrude Youth Ministry exists to provide a variety of opportunities and
experiences to high school age youth for their spiritual, moral,
intellectual and social development formation. This formation is essential
to becoming mature, well-rounded, Catholic Christian Adults. St. Gertrude
Youth Ministry encourages the youth of the parish to develop a personal
relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church in the power of
the Holy Spirit. In so doing, each person will realize in his or her own
life the mission of Jesus: "I came so that they may have life, and have it
to the full" (John 10:10).

July 8-13 God in Cinci
2013: No Greater Love |
God in Cinci is a week-long immersion into
the life of Christ. Our mission is to bring together Catholic Youth
Ministry programs in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to create a
discipleship-based mission camp that allows our teens to break out
of their comfort zones in service to Christ in their neighbors in
need. This is only possible through greater conversion to Christ,
which allows for the fostering of true Christian friendships and
community.

SummerFest July 13,
2013 2pm-9pm |
| We
can encounter the risen Lord today, just as the disciples did 2,000
years ago. It happens in and through His real presence in the
Eucharist (CCC 1376-1380). Encounter SummerFest will gather high

opportunity to encounter Christ in Eucharistic Adoration, in the
healing of the Sacrament of Confession, and in fellowship with one
another. |
