Mission Statement
St. Gertrude Youth Ministry exists to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to high school age youth for their spiritual, moral, intellectual and social development formation. This formation is essential to becoming mature, well-rounded, Catholic Christian Adults. St. Gertrude Youth Ministry encourages the youth of the parish to develop a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church in the power of the Holy Spirit. In so doing, each person will realize in his or her own life the mission of Jesus: "I came so that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

February 4: Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra
Classical music enthusiast?  Even if you're not, you may gain an appreciation.  We'll head to Music Hall on Feb. 4 for "Beethoven's Eroica."  Right before the event, our group will hear a short presentation on the value of classical music, and some insight into the pieces we will hear that night.  Forms and registration fee for this event are due ASAP.

February 12: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (7 - 9 pm)
What are you really after?  What is this life all about?  What is my purpose?  Am I free to pursue anything I want?  On Sunday, we will grapple with these sorts of questions – ones that everyone should take seriously.  Join us for food, games and prizes, before we launch into our topic and examine the Beatitudes!  Invite a friend.

February 19 - 20: Lock-In 2012 (7pm - 7 am)
Looking for something to do during President’s Day weekend?  Why not pull an all-nighter with your friends?  We’ll be up all night (though we will set aside a room for sleepy people) with group competitions, food, movies, open gym and prizes.  Get a group of friends together and join in the party.
