Mission Statement   
St. Gertrude Youth Ministry exists to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to high school age youth for their spiritual, moral, intellectual and social development formation. This formation is essential to becoming mature, well-rounded, Catholic Christian Adults. St. Gertrude Youth Ministry encourages the youth of the parish to develop a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church in the power of the Holy Spirit. In so doing, each person will realize in his or her own life the mission of Jesus: "I came so that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

	End-of-the-Year Party May 20, 2012 6-9pm – Sellman Park (in case of rain – Parish Center)
	All current 8-12th graders are invited to our big year-end bash.  We have reserved the shelter at Sellman Park, where we will congregate for dinner, music, games and much more.  Please spread the word as we close out our year with a bang!
	Summer Bible Study - June - July
	Interested in a Bible Study this summer?  We have 2 to offer – one for young men and one for young women.  Check out the respective forms for more information.  Forms are due no later than June 6th.
	June 16 (6-9pm) - Lawn Games & Worship Night w/ IHM
	Steubenville Youth Conference:  June 22-24
	Meet up with 2000 other teens on a search for an Answer to the problem of life, its questions, trials and fleeting joys!  Weekend is open to current 8-12th graders. The trip is currently sold out.  Please turn in forms to be placed on the waitlist.  Get the permission forms here.
