“The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.”

Increasing Adoration HoursThe Mother of Mercy Adoration Chapel is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and overnight on Wednesdays. Volunteers are still needed during many of these hours. Please consider using one hour of the time God gives you to spend time with the Lord Jesus in his Eucharistic presence. To sign up to be a Eucharistic guardian (someone who commits to an hour of adoration at the same time each week), please click the button to the right or call or stop by the parish office. With your help, we can increase the hours of adoration at our parish. |
In Eucharistic adoration, Jesus is exposed in the Blessed Sacrament and rests in the beautiful monstrance on the altar.
Our ministry is committed to providing 2–3 guardians each hour of the day so that Jesus is never left alone. We know our parish has—and will—experience many blessings as a result of this commitment. Whether you can spend one hour per week or one hour per month in prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel, your commitment will ensure that the chapel remains open so others can come and adore. We can work with your schedule. We are also in need of substitute guardians, which might better suit your availability. We have a notification system in place, should a regularly scheduled adorer not make his or her time on a particular day. All people on the sub list would be notified of this need and could then respond via email. |
