Who We Are
The St. Gertrude Church adult choir is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to using their gifts to beautify the liturgy and aid in the prayer life of the parish.
What We Do
The work we do as a volunteer church choir is not only a musical outlet for those who love to sing (and find the choir a perfect way to serve the parish) but also an apostolate by which we enhance the Mass and life of the parish. The adult choir sings at the following liturgies and special events:
- 10 a.m. Sunday Mass (every weekend except the first Sunday of the month)
- All liturgies during Holy Week
- Easter Vigil
- Christmas
- Several major feast days
When We Meet
The adult choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. in the Parish Center.
Join Us
Singers of all skill levels are welcome to join the adult choir. Previous choral singing experience is a plus but not a requirement, as gaining musical skills and vocal training is part of being involved in this rewarding ministry.
If you are interested in joining the adult choir, please contact Catherine Fishlock, director of music at St. Gertrude, at musicdirector@stgertrude.org or (513) 561-5954, ext. 2116.
