St. Gertrude Post-Mass Announcement Submission Guidelines
At St. Gertrude, we do everything possible to ensure that the focus of the liturgy remains fixed in the right place for the duration of Mass. We also know that a long litany of post-Mass announcements is a rather unwelcome thing for many parishioners.
Therefore, post-Mass announcements are limited to the following:
If you would like to submit a request for a post-Mass announcement, please follow these guidelines:
St. Gertrude Church reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based upon space limitations or concerns about the content. Though we do the best we can to respond to each submission, we might be unable to respond to each request due to volume.
Therefore, post-Mass announcements are limited to the following:
- Information regarding the liturgy itself
- Adjustments to the liturgical schedule for the upcoming week
- Announcements regarding events happening after Mass or groups that are set up outside after Mass that weekend
- Announcements regarding St. Gertrude events or programs that we are trying to push
If you would like to submit a request for a post-Mass announcement, please follow these guidelines:
- Content should be limited to two sentences max.
- Submit content by 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the weekend for which the request is being made.
- Content should be submitted to the bulletin editor at bulletin@stgertrude.org.
