All active and retired police, fire, and emergency responders in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati (and their families) are invited to attend the 17th Annual Blue Mass Celebration at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Police chaplain, Father Steve Angi, will be the celebrant.
Later this month, CatholicVote (a nonprofit organization on a mission to inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life) is launching EDIFY, a new comprehensive digital learning platform designed to deliver answers to tough questions through brief and engaging 5-minute videos featuring experts from across the country. And it's all grounded in the teachings of the Catholic Church.
To help spread the news about EDIFY to every Catholic in America, CatholicVote (CV) created a little competition: The top parish, school, or Catholic organization with the highest number of new EDIFY subscribers wins a $10,000 grant, made possible by CV's generous supporters. Sponsored every year by the Seeker Kids in memory of their parents, Jerry and Shirley Seeger, our 2021 Golf Ball Drop took place on Saturday, August 21, at our parish picnic—and it was a huge success!

Their immediate needs include household items to fill the Exit Basket each family receives as they start a new life in more stable housing. Here is a full list of items:
Thanks to the initiative and generosity of one of our parishioners, the entire parish had the opportunity to participate in the Napa Institute’s 2021 Virtual Summer Conference, July 22-24, for free. Robert Spitzer, S.J., and other great Catholic speakers of our generation.
Even though the live events are over, you can still access the video content—for free. Read more for instructions on how to set up your own login on the Napa Institute website and start viewing the live streamed talks today. (Video content will only be available until October 11, 2021. |
