Who We Are
We are a group men committed to learning and serving the traditional Dominican Rite form of the Mass in order to preserve and propagate true and edifying worship in the Church.
What We Do
We set up the sanctuary for Dominican Rite Masses at St. Gertrude Church, pray, and serve at the altar during these special Masses.
When We Meet
About a week prior to a scheduled Dominican Rite Mass (typically once a month), the men who will be serving at the altar will meet to run through the Mass with the celebrant. On the day of the Mass, we meet an hour and a half before Mass begins to do another run through, set up the sanctuary area, and pray. Most of the time commitment will come up front as you learn the Dominican Rite from written resources and watching recordings of the Mass.
