Cana Family for Mothers

Helping you, your spouse, and your children find greater happiness and live a more meaningful life.

Who We Are

Cana Family for Mothers is a group of moms and future moms who want to renew and refresh their energy for their marriage and family. We are from all walks of life, but share in the desire to grow in our faith, strengthen our marriage, grow closer to Christ, and build a domestic church.

What We Do

What does it mean to be created as woman? What does it mean to be called to the vocation of wife and mother? The Cana Experience for Mothers: Created and Called draws women to deeply embrace the truth that they are created in the image and likeness of God as his beloved daughters and that he calls them to a specific mission not only as wives and mothers, but also as disciples to other families.

Through this formation series for mothers of young children, moms and future moms grow in their awareness of being a daughter of God, while discovering principles and practical tools to guide them in their parenting decisions. Through Cana, you will make and keep purposeful resolutions to grow closer to God, your husband, and your children while meeting with other moms who want the same things as you—to raise great children and have a strong and fulfilling marriage.

Sessions include a reflection on a Gospel passage and church teachings, followed by a conversation on two to three principles that are directly relevant to marriage, parenting, and family life, and conclude with a resolution to implement.

When We Meet

We meet twice a month from September through April. Times and days are determined by each group.

“I signed up for The Cana Experience: Created and Called program to grow in my Catholic faith and meet other women at my parish. Going into my fourth year of Cana, I can now say the program has gone above and beyond expectations. By investing my time, focus and an open mind, I have gained knowledge, faith and deep friendships—both with my small group and the larger Cana community. I highly recommend Cana!”
