All St. Gertrude Church parishioners and St. Gertrude School students in K–8th grade for the 2024-2025 academic year are invited to join the St. Gertrude Bulldogs track and field team! Athletes who are not St. Gertrude parishioners or students but are parishioners or students at St. Andrew or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton or a student at a school that doesn't offer track and field are invited to participate, per the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) neighboring parish rule.

Team
The Bulldogs track and field team consists of students in K–8th grade. Athletes will compete in the following grade level divisions:
- K–2nd grade
- 3rd–4th grade
- 5th–6th grade
- 7th–8th grade
Practices
Grades 5-8
Practices will begin the week of March 3 on Mondays and Wednesdays. On March 3 and 5, practice will be from 6 to 7 p.m. On March 10 and 12, practice will be from 6 to 7:15 p.m. On March 17 and beyond, practice will be from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Kindergarten-4th Grade
Practices will begin the week of March 17 and take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.

- Meets are instructional in nature and held on Saturday mornings.

- Events (3rd–4th Grade): 50m, 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot/Softball Throw
