Our ministry for junior high fosters a base camp experience of the Christian life. Inspired by the lives of saints who embarked on the adventure of the Christian life, we cultivate time and space for encountering Christ through prayer, the sacraments, and real formation for daily discipleship.
Program Elements & Sessions
Our junior high youth ministry is open to all seventh and eighth graders and supplements other formation opportunities. More information about dates and events is coming soon!
Confirmation Preparation
For those who are seeking the sacrament of Confirmation at St. Gertrude Church and are not enrolled in St. Gertrude School, we offer our Confirmation Preparation ministry. Through this two-year program (beginning in seventh grade and continuing until the sacrament is received in eighth grade), we seek to form young disciples through prayer, study, the communal life, and formation for mission.
