Who We Are
The Collegium is St. Gertrude Church’s choir for high school students.
What We Do
The Collegium sings occasionally at the 12 p.m. Sunday Mass. The choir focuses primarily on singing plainchant and simple motets chosen intentionally for developing voices. High school Choral Scholars assist in leading this special choir.
When We Meet
We rehearse from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room (lower level of the Parish Center) on the Wednesday prior to each Mass at which we sing. Each rehearsal is followed by free pizza, and members can receive service hours for every rehearsal and Mass they attend. On the Sundays we sing for Mass, we meet an hour beforehand at 11 a.m. in the Choir Room.
