All girls in grades K–8* are invited to join the Bulldogs cheerleading program for the 2024 fall season. Here's everything you need to know about the cheerleading program and how to register.
The Program*
The Bulldogs cheerleading program is composed of girls in grades K-8 who are active parishioners at St. Gertrude, St. Andrew, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, or St. Louis parishes (this includes homeschool students and students enrolled at one of the parish schools or faith formation classes).
Practices
Cheerleading camp will be over the summer, and official practices will start in July. Although there are adjustments in the pre-season, practices will be once a week once the school year begins. Practices and cheer camp may be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton or St. Andrew parishes.
Games
The regular game season runs from the first weekend after the start of school to approximately Halloween, with playoffs concluding in early November 2024. Games will be played on either Saturday or Sunday. Home games will be played at either the Seton home field or at Madeira High School Stadium. Away games will be played all over the city!
Registration
Registration is open until May 31, 2024!
Cost: $60 per participant
All St. Gertrude parishioners are required to pay a one-time $30 Boosters fee for the family's "first sport" of the 2024-2025 school year. If this is your family's "first sport of the year," you will need to pay the $30 fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
What will I need to purchase?
The girls will need a water bottle, gym shoes, and white socks.
Can my daughter be part of the cheerleading program and play another sport at the same time?
Yes, many of our cheerleaders either play soccer or volleyball while participating in the Bulldogs cheerleading program.
How can I help my daughter succeed?
Have your daughter come to cheer camp! At cheer camp, the girls will learn the cheers and the dance, and it is so important that they are there! If your daughter cannot attend cheer camp, we will make arrangements to catch her up, but please let us know in advance.
Where can I get more information? There will be a parent meeting held before the season starts to answer any and all questions.
