Reserve Your Seat – 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Masses Only

To best manage the large crowd, improve your experience, and help you plan your Christmas celebration, we are requiring reservations for our 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Masses only. (Tickets are free.) Unlike last year though, you will not be assigned a specific seat—it will be open seating.

To get on the waitlist for either of these Masses, please visit buytickets.at/stgertrude before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, December 16. These Masses will fill up quickly!

Once you add your name to the waitlist, you should receive a confirmation email. We will contact you if space becomes available.

If you have already successfully reserved your free tickets for one of these Masses, you should have received a confirmation email. Please bring this email with you when you come to the 3:00 p.m or 5:30 p.m. Mass and show it to one of the ushers when arrive. (You can either print the email or pull it up on your mobile device.) Also, we ask that everyone in your party be in their seats no later than five minutes before the scheduled start time of Mass or your tickets may be forfeited.

If you have any questions, need help signing up for Mass, or want to make changes to your reservation, please call the parish office at (513) 561-5954 or email [email protected].

Livestreaming Masses

We will be streaming our 11:30 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve (December 24) and our 10:00 a.m. Mass on Christmas Day (December 25). To participate, please visit our YouTube channel on the respective day and at the scheduled Mass time. If you wish to be alerted when we are live, please subscribe to our YouTube channel, and then click on the bell.

Ushers Needed for Christmas Masses

With nine Christmas Masses, we are in critical need of ushers to help make sure each Mass runs smoothly. Each Mass in the church requires five ushers, and each Mass in the gym requires two or three ushers. Usher duties include:
  • helping with check-in and seating
  • usual duties (collection and dismissing pews for Communion) With the reservation system and the confirmation notice with pre-assigned seating, this process should be relatively seamless.

For further details, please read over this job description.

If you are able to help with the usher duties, please contact Doug Postler at [email protected].
