Founded in Cincinnati by Jim and Donna Murphy, Heaven's Gain Ministries provides for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families experiencing pregnancy loss—before, during, and after the delivery of their babies. Because this support is so important and necessary, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati made it possible for parishioners at St. Gertrude and parishes throughout the archdiocese to be trained in this ministry. 

Who Is It For?

Pregnancy loss is not rare. Heaven's Gain Ministries and St. Gertrude Parish's trained ministers serve families who have found out that their baby has died in the womb or who is going to die shortly after birth. Through a wide range of support and by offering products such as miscarriage kits, infant urns, infant and toddler caskets, and more, Heaven's Gain Ministries is here to help parents every step of the way along their grief journeys and as they heal.
