Who We Are
The St. Gertrude Church Parish Choir is a group of 20 volunteers, high school Choral Scholars, and professional section leaders who are dedicated to using their gifts to beautify the liturgy and aid in the prayer life of the parish.
What We Do
The Parish Choir brings the beauty and richness of our Catholic musical heritage to life in the modern world by singing for the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass and for major feast days.
When We Meet
In addition to singing at the aforementioned liturgies, we rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Choir Room in the lower level of the Parish Center. On Sunday, we meet at 9 a.m. prior to singing for the 10 a.m. Mass. The choir’s season runs from after Labor Day until Christmas Eve, then after Martin Luther King Day until Corpus Christi.
Join Us / Contact Us
Singers of all skill levels are welcome to join the Parish Choir. Previous choral singing experience is a plus but not a requirement, as gaining musical skills and vocal training is part of being involved in this rewarding ministry.
