Who We Are

The St. Gertrude Resurrection Choir is comprised of women who desire to use their musical talents to comfort bereaved families during funerals. 

What We Do

The Resurrection Choir sings during funerals at St. Gertrude Church, playing an important part in these emotional liturgies and offering consolation to those who have lost a loved one.

When We Meet

Rehearsals are on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Parish Center St. Joseph Room (see the spring 2025 schedule). When a funeral is scheduled, choir members will be notified via email. They will then let the director, Christopher Holman, know if they are available to sing. Funerals are usually at either 9:30 a.m. or 1 p.m.​​
