"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
– Matthew 5:4
– Matthew 5:4
Mourning the loss of a loved one is never easy, but there is hope. St. Gertrude Church hosts a unique adult support group for the bereaved called Seasons of Hope. This program, rooted in Catholic tradition, conveys God’s consolation through Scripture, prayer, reflections, faith sharing, and fellowship.
You are an expert on your grief. This group is not designed to teach you the stages of grief, as you will meet them as you walk this journey. We will help you focus on your relationship with the Lord and the many ways his church offers consolation. Our hope is that you will deepen your bond with Jesus and his mother, Mary, as you share your sorrow with them and others who mourn.
We welcome anyone who has suffered a loss, whether it be recent or years ago, and hope you will prayerfully consider our invitation to attend.
