Who We Are

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, who are growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.

What We Do

At St. Gertrude, our SVDP conference serves the community in a variety of ways:

• Food drives, including collecting items in the food barrel inside the sacristy door
• Utilizing money in the poor box and from other monetary donations to help people in need with water and electricity bills, food and funeral expenses, and more

When We Meet

Our local conference meets the second Tuesday of the month from 7–8 p.m. at the Parish Center in the St. Joseph room. 

Join Us

Most people join by attending a meeting and then discerning if they feel called to join our conference.
