It’s time to kick off the 2022 Catholic Ministries Appeal (CMA) throughout the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The CMA is our opportunity each year to support the work of six vital ministries, all of which operate right here in our archdiocese. These ministries include:
The week of January 23, 2022, families will be receiving a CMA mailing from Archbishop
Schnurr. In the meantime, please listen to the archbishop's CMA message, explaining how our support of the Catholic Ministries Appeal allows us to stand with the ministries that teach, feed, and heal throughout the archdiocese.
Thanks to the generosity of 308 families here at St. Gertrude, we pledged $107,519.00 to the 2021 CMA. This year, our goal is $84,363—and if we exceed our goal, 50 percent of our over-goal amount comes back to St. Gertrude to be used here at the parish.
Please prayerfully consider how you will contribute to the 2022 CMA. You can complete your pledge card and return it in the envelope provided, or bring your completed pledge card and envelope to Mass. For more information or to donate online, please visit CatholicAOC.org/CMA. Thank you!
This summer, St. Gertrude Church will begin Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Catechist Formation courses for both Level 1 and Level 2.
If you have experienced the impact that CGS has made on your child’s life of faith and feel called to participate in this ministry as a catechist or an assistant catechist, please consider this opportunity. You will learn how to lead children to encounter Jesus through this beautiful method. Dan Teller, catechist and founder of Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori, will be leading the training.
For more information and to register, please check out the Level 1 and Level 2 course brochures.
If you have any questions, please contact Mary Beth Dickert, coordinator of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at email@example.com or (513) 561-8369 ext. 2110. Please share this invitation with interested family members and friends.
