St. Joseph Triduum: March 17-19

In lieu of the annual Lenten Parish Mission, which has been cancelled due to COVID, the Dominican Friars of St. Gertrude are very happy to offer a special three day series on St. Joseph, a veritable "Triduum" if you will, concluding with a Dominican Rite Mass on the Solemnity of St. Joseph.

Our “Triduum of St. Joseph” will involve a three-day period of special reflection and more focused prayer, in order to learn from St. Joseph’s example and ask for his help as we aspire to be loving, obedient to God, accepting of others, courageous, industrious, and chaste like him. It is our response as a parish to Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation, Patris Corde (“With a Father’s Heart”), which designated this year especially to such spiritual exercises. The St. Joseph Triduum will take place at St. Gertrude beginning at 7:30pm each night from March 17-19, 2021. All of the details for this one-of-a-kind event are as follows:
