Archangel Icon Workshop

Paint your own icon of Archangel St. Michael or St. Gabriel during a six-day workshop at Iconic Studio. You will learn the ancient techniques of gilding with 24kt gold leaf on burnished clay and painting with egg tempera paint, as well as the meaning behind the image you’re painting and the symbolism involved in the materials, colors, and drawing.

The workshop, taught by Tatiana and Dmitrii Berestov, will take place Monday, June 27, 2022–Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (there will be an hour break for lunch). There is a $90 deposit due by June 6 with your registration form, plus a $250 tuition and materials fee due the first day of the workshop (June 27). All materials and tools are included.
