Walk to Remember - CANCELED (Weather)

Join members of St. Gertrude Church for a Walk to Remember. This 5k walk is a community event - open to all - and will begin at St. Gertrude at 9am on June 19, 2021. It's a great way to join with others to remember those who have passed away. 

Here are all of the details: 

Course: A 3.1-mile loop beginning at St. Gertrude, through Madeira neighborhoods, and returning to St. Gertrude. You can check out the whole course here. 

Registration: For all entries postmarked by June 3, 2021: $25/adult, $20/child (18 and under) and $75.00 per family (same household). Includes T-shirts. For walk day registration: $25 plus an additional $5 for T-shirt (while supplies last). Walk day registration begins at 8:00 A.M. in the Parish Center. Register online at: http://buytickets.at/stgertrude. A limited number of paper forms are available at the parish office, along with information about how to pay via check. 

Refreshments: Water is available at the start/finish line and during the race. Bagels and more after the race.

Mass: A Mass will be said for those loved ones remembered.

Prizes: All entry forms will be entered into a drawing after the walk for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. At the finish line, entrants will receive a memory card to mark the event.
